Christmas Card 2010

Merry Christmas Everyone, here is my online Christmas card!!
2010 has been such a wonderful year, and time has gone by so fast.


Dalan is 6 years old and started 1st grade this year. Although we miss him being gone all day long, he comes home so happy and excited; we are happy for the chance he has to go everyday.  He has a wonderful teacher and loves learning.  He is still the tallest kid in his class and probably out weighs everyone by at least 20 pounds.  And his heart is as big as he is. He loves to read, do math, make paper airplanes, ride his bike (which he finally mastered this year) and of course play video games. He is such a great leader and example for all his little sisters and brother.

Hunter is 5 years old and started his 3rd year of Preschool this year and is getting pretty good at the whole preschool thing. He is so active and happy all day long.  He has gotten into video games this year and loves to share that with Dalan.  He loves to ride his bike with Mommy while she jogs, ride his bike, play with his cousin and friends, jump on the tramp, play outside, and carry his sisters around. He loves to play with paper airplanes especially the ones his Dad makes, but he'll take the ones Mom makes if no one else is around to make them. He would swim everyday if we let him and is so excited to do swim lessons this year. He likes to laugh and whistle and does that all day every day.

Ellie still pretty much runs the house with her cute little personality.  She loves everything girl and having two older brothers has not turned her into a tomboy at all.  She is 3 years old and started her first year of Preschool and loves it.  She even grew some hair this year and loves to have Mom do it everyday.  She loves everything Princess or Barbie and of course her favorite color is Pink.  She loves to ride her big girl bike and is so independent!  She has such a sweet personality and has really started playing a lot with Hunter.  She loves to play with her friends and her cousins.

Kaylee is 14 months old and is ready for Preschool, but currently no one is accepting one year olds. :). Kaylee is walking all over the place and is too busy being independent to waste time growing hair.  She loves to laugh and smile and crinkle her nose.  She is growing up so much and even plays on her own sometimes which is really nice.

Katalina is also 14 months old, but since she is so busy eating and growing hair, people are starting to think she is older than Kaylee and some people even ask me how far apart the girls are to which I reply, 8 minutes. Katalina is just starting to walk, but loves to push things around.  She stays real close to Mommy at all times and is happy being held unless she is sleeping. She loves to be around people and gets everyone laughing and smiling!!

Doug is still busy being our kids Dad and my Husband, and believe me those two things are VERY time consuming -  and he even finds time to run our business and serve as Elder's Quorum President.  All this running around has done him good, he is now 50 pounds lighter than when I married him!!

I am keeping busy with the kids.  What else is there in life right now.  Life is full of minute after minute, hour after hour, day after day, and month after month of watching and guiding my kids as they grow and learn each day, and I couldn't be happier.  When I have spare time I shoot photography, teach water aerobics, plan parties for the ward, try to loose yet another 10 pounds of "baby fat", and go running.

Some of our Favorite things we did as a family this year were - Vacations to Disneyland, Lake Powell, and Sea World.  We are totally adjusting to being a family of 7, and we love it!  We are excited to wish you and your family a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.  We love this time of year we have to reflect upon the Birth and Life of our Savior and feel of his Spirit in our lives.  May we all remember Him whose birth we celebrate.
